- Self closing hinges on the gates with magnetic gate latches such as a aqua latch or magna latch.
- Gates must swing out.
- Fence must be installed no more than 2 inches from the ground.
- Maximum distance between bottom rail and next rail is 45 inches
- Maximum distance between vertical pickets is 4 inches in most townships. Some require 2 inch spacing.
- Fence to be minimum 48 inches and still be in compliance with all the above.
Note: It is also very important to install HD gate posts minimum of 2 inch with .125 wall thickness to 4 inch square HD post which will accent the gate. We like to use a 2.5 inch gate post to accent gate. All posts need to be installed in concrete. Minimum of 60lb bag of concrete per post.
